The Sykes Point is located on the edge of a steep hill of Western Ghats, 23 km from Dandeli. Nagzari Power House of the Kali Project is situated at the bottom of the hill and the surge tank, water moving facility, which feeds turbines of Nagzari Power House, is located near the Sykes Point. Sykes Point is a famed sightseeing attraction for offering a beautiful view of deep valleys and thickly forested hills. From the viewpoint, tourists can also view the confluence of Nagajhari River with the River Kali. This is one of the finest view of the river you can see anywhere in Karnataka.

Coracle is a weak boat made by tribal fishermen basically. This is prepared by a bamboo and on the base of this coracle they apply a water proofing of paste. Earlier days these fisher men used this for fishing and some times to cross the river.
